Region III Awards

If you are an Excellence Award winner in your state, your nomination must be submitted on the Awards Portal by March 1, 2024 in order to qualify for Region III consideration for the 2025* Excellence Awards. Find your state below for next steps on submitting your nomination for the Region III awards.

If your state used ACTE’s online submission process for its state awards program, then your nomination should already be on the Awards Portal and you do not need to restart your submission. To access your application, log in to the system on the left hand side. If you need access to make updates to your online application, contact your state awards coordinator. The following states use the Awards Portal for their state awards; the links below will take you to their state main pages:

*Why am I submitting for the 2025 Excellence Awards? The ACTE awards naming convention is a year ahead. Candidates for the 2025 Excellence Awards will undergo their Region and national review in 2024, and national winners will be announced at ACTE’s CareerTech VISION 2024.


In addition to the ACTE Member Awards, Region III accepts nominations for the following:

Region III Award of Merit

This award is for contributions to the promotion, development, and direction of career and technical education. 

Please submit your nomination using this one-page form. All nominations must be done electronically using this form. Each state in Region III may recognize two (2) individuals or organizations for their highly meritorious contributions to the improvement, promotion, development, and progress of career and technical, as well as practical arts education. The state hosting the conference for Region III, as always, has the opportunity to nominate three (3). The deadline to complete a nomination is June 1st. If you have any questions about the nomination process, please contact the Region III Awards Chair, Shylee Endicott (sendicott@hannibal60.com).
